Through use of the Generically Accredited ACKTerm product, integration with an EPoS system can be achieved very quickly, weeks rather than months. ACKTerm handles all types of credit cards, including Chip & PIN, and, significantly, has achieved Generic Accreditation status with all the UK acquiring banks, eliminating the need for the entire EPoS system to be accredited by the acquirers.

The Generic Accreditation of the ACKTerm product allows the merchant to continue to use existing links to the card acquirers, allows them to adopt new data communication infrastructures such as Broadband in the future without the need to re-accredit and fully supports the managed service offered by Datacash.
