MasterCard’s DataCash announces new Magento platform extension for online merchants. Extension offers secure and robust international payments to over 100,000 merchants worldwide.
LONDON, UK, 13 August 2012 – DataCash, a MasterCard company and Session Digital, a Magento Enterprise Partner, have today announced the availability of a DataCash module, allowing merchants using the Magento platform to benefit from secure and robust international payments.
Magento is a feature-rich eCommerce platform that provides over 100,000 merchants globally with a high degree of flexibility and control over the user experience, content and functionality of their online store. Magento Enterprise, the company’s premiere solution, enables mid- to large-sized merchants to build and run fully functional online stores.
Merchants will benefit from the ability to accept secure, international payments through DataCash’s robust payment gateway which processes over one billion transactions each year and prevents over £1m of attempted fraud every day.
Through DataCash’s relationship with MasterCard, merchants will also benefit from the latest developments in payment innovation.
The module, developed by DataCash and Session Digital, will be compatible with both Magento’s Community Edition (1.4.2 onwards) and Enterprise Edition (1.9 onwards).
