Business Analyst

The Role

Working at the DataCash Office in Cape Town, the successful candidate will have responsibility to assist the Professional Services division with the business's strategic objectives

The role will require the individual to utilize strong analytical and product management skills to understand and interpret customer and business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. This can be done through the use of interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and task and workflow analysis

It is important for the business analyst to drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

The Candidate

We are seeking high calibre individuals with payment services knowledge and experience. Someone with relevant experience in card payment services is preferable. Experience in the Financial Services/IT/E-commerce or PSP sectors would be advantageous. Someone who is customer focused, methodical, creative, and problem solvers would be a fair description. The candidate will act as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow, therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills is a requirement as well as the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts,
